The only factory-certified Weil-McLain provider in upstate New York

Weil-McLain logo

Weil-McLain recognizes one contractor in upstate New York as its factory-certified startup and service provider: Trinity Plumbing & Drains, the operating company behind Trinity Plumbing NY. New Weil-McLain commercial boilers across the territory are fired, set up and signed off by our technicians, following Weil-McLain’s own startup procedure.

The certification covers every Weil-McLain model, condensing or cast iron, hot water or steam, and it includes warranty work. A warranty claim is handled by the same crew that put the boiler into service, working from the startup readings they recorded.

Scope of Work
01

Factory startup

Before first fire we check the gas supply, venting, condensate disposal, system piping and water quality against Weil-McLain’s installation requirements. Then we light the boiler, set combustion with a calibrated analyzer, confirm gas pressures and prove each limit and safety device. The readings go on a startup report for the owner’s records.

02

Commissioning

We set the controls up for the building: supply setpoints, outdoor reset, and staging and lead/lag rotation on multiple-boiler plants. When a building automation system will run the plant, we work through the interface with the controls contractor. Facility staff get a walkthrough before we sign off.

03

Service & warranty

After handover we can stay on as the plant’s service contractor: scheduled maintenance, combustion testing, diagnostics and repairs, plus Weil-McLain warranty work, on every model in the line.
